I've been on youtube and I've been thinking which is better: Ocean, FUNimation, or Blue Water?

The original Japanese. From what I've heard I prefer Funimation over the Ocean dub. Although I don't mind the Saiyan to mid Frieza Saga stuff they did as that originally aired here in Australia in 2000. But in all honesty I've really only heard the Funi Dub.

I only heard the Ocean Dub during the Saiyan Saga. However, Funimation originally took over during the Ginyu Saga. We have that remastered box set, with English voices and music, so, of course, they put Funimation voices with Ocean music which was really doing it for me, I loved it. Then, as soon as the Ginyu Saga changed over, the animation got bad and the music changed to Funimation, plus, some of the voices (eg Goku) stopped being redubbed, so it was a very awkward moment in the series.
I prefer Funimation voices and Ocean music. They should have given us the option of Ocean or Funimation music. The Japanese music is classic, it's just that it repeats too often and half the time there is no music.

I love the funimation soundtrack. I also prefer the funimation voices. They sound much better (in my opinion).

I am Goku's lost brother, Gokulio! (I can't be bothered to type my little made up story out, but maybe later if I find the forum I have it on).

I've heard some more of the Ocean dub recently and the voices were so-so.

I like the Ocean dub music to be honest. And I keep trying to listen to the Japanese soundtrack to the series, but I keep finding myself switch back to the Funimation Music because it brings back memories of watching it before I go to school in the morning.
Japanese soundtrack was lacking in music for a good portion of each episode, and then when it's on it is the same tracks over and over again.

I used to love that music that came on with the episode title in the Ocean dub and the classic 'Rock the Dragon'.
I like both the Funimation and Japanese score but I've started to prefer the Japanese score. It just fits the show better although Funimation's is pretty diverse but I wish they used proper instruments not all those electronic ones.

True, they could have done a little better rather than a fully synthesized soundtrack.
