Character Dialogue

We all know that for certain "special fights" in the Budokai and TB/Sparking games, you get special dialogue, as opposed to the generic sayings you get otherwise.

Well, my insane scheme is to get creative and come up with special dialogue for EVERY SINGLE FIGHT.  Yes, I'm crazy.

Here's a few samples to show you that I think it can be done--

Cooler: You shall die for the sake of my family's pride.  Prepare for crucifiction.
Future Trunks: Your brother met his end at my blade...and, for the sake of universe, so shall you!

Dr. Wheelo: Hmm...your body would be most useful...if only it did not rot in the sun...
Lucifer: My fangs may not be able to sink into your metal body...but that brain of yours is a different story!

Turles: I have eaten the fruit of the Tree of Might...you cannot stand against me.
Nikki: Oh, you like fruit, do you?  Well, so do I...let's see whose fruit is stronger!

(the joke with that one is that Nikki is the henchman who keeps eating apples through the whole bloody movie)

Vegeta: Kakarot!  Fight against me.  We well settle this once and for all!!
Goku: Sure!  It's been some time since we had a good fight.

Majin Buu: Hmm...me huuungry!
Bibidi: Hungry? Well, if you keep doing what I tell you I'll give you all the cake you want.
Majin Buu: Cake? Oooh, cake! Cake goood!

Supreme Kai: This would be a good chance to test my abilities against an earthling.
Hercule: Wait, little purple men with pointy ears don't exist. This must be a dream!

Majin Vegeta: I assume that ugly blob there is Majin Buu.
Majin Buu: He say oogly? What means that? Oogly?
Babidi: He means your face would scare small children, now hurry up and kill him!

Piccolo: Don't think you're going to win this one, android!
Android #17: Ha, what would you know? You're just a flesh and bone creation.

Vegeta: Well if it isn't the purple tin can. Ready to die?!
Android 15: If you think you're gonna kill me you're sadly mistaken. Want a drink though?

Tapion: Trunks, long time no see. How's the old sword holding up?
Trunks (Future): Why don't we try it out Tapion?

Frieza: A Namekian huh? Didn't you see what I did to your friends?
Nail: Frieza!!!! You'll pay!

Frieza: You Namekians just keep lining up to die.
Piccolo: You've underestimated this Namekian!

Goten: Hey Videl. I saw what you and Gohan were doing! Kissy kissy!! Ha ha!
Videl: Hey! That was supposed to be private you little sneak!

Vegeta: At last, Cui. I've wanted to crush you for a long time you coward!
Cui: Your power....it's....skyrocketed!

Trunks (Future): You know what's funny Cell, in the future, you're nowhere to be seen.
Cell (Imperfect): Hmmm...I thought I killed you...

Cell (Perfect): You're just as stubborn as your father if you think you can challenge me.
Trunks (Future): I've surpassed my father Cell, ready to wear it?

So I think that our combined creativity is enough to come up with dialogue for everyone.  Think we can get cracking?

Goku: Sure!!, its been some time since I had a good fight.

(Don't know how this would fit in against somebody, could be generic saying if Bibidi is in team. I just saw this episode the other day and found it funny)

Done.  I'm a little bit leery about the three-person ones, but I included them anyway, we can always slice them out later if we feel like it.

Kami: Begone from here, you murderous marauder!  I am a god!
Raditz: A small god, perhaps...of a small world.

Freeza: Another Namek?  How many do I have to kill to get my wish?
Slug: I'm no pushover like other Nameks...before I'm done with you, all you'll wish for is death.

Cell: Hm!  So this is where Dr. Gero got the idea to make me perfect...from this washed-up old prototype.
Android 13: We'll see how washed up I am, when you lay bleeding at this prototype's mercy...

Teen Goten: Well, same stakes as always?
Teen Trunks: Yep, winner gets to be Player 1!

Those are good, though I don't think the Kami and Raditz one fits Kami's personality. He doesn't boast or refer to himself as a god. Maybe if you made it something more similar to this?

The Cell and Android 13 one probably could do with some shortening or refining, but it's a nice basis for their discussion.

There wouldn't be many which include 3 players, I just thought that the one with Babidi, Buu and Vegeta would be great. It would only happen if Babidi was also on the team. Also, the one with Bibidi and Buu could be their sort of generic one with other characters?

I have a few more:

Trunks (Future): You and your kind are pathetic, always destroying things and hurting people.
Android 13: Don't you lecture me boy with your $30 haircut!

(That one actually happened, at least Trunks' went something like that.)

Cell (Imperfect): Aaah, Krillin...
Krillin: Oh man. Why did I have to find him first?

Well, Kami means god, in Japanese, and he's always treated as such.

So we are doing dialogue for every character vs. every character? Isn't that going to be a bit much for the voice actors? And wont that fill the disc up heaps?

It just doesn't suit his personality is all. He doesn't really declare himself as god.

Android 13 said that in the English dub of Super Android 13, yes, so therefor he should say that to Trunks as well.

I think they'll be some interesting ones, though for EVERY character would be an impossible feint, in the end, developers can pick which ones they want.

Very good. I like the first one the most. I think you mean "kill" your saiyan brother, but I understand English is not your first language.

Well, if at all possible, I want to try and avoid dub-only sayings...saves work for when they record the Japanese version, plus it's truer to the characters.

If they said it in the dub, then it is what the majority of us are familiar with, so why not have it? They can always change it in translation if they want as we do with theirs.
