The specials are considered canon. Although the Trunks special is a little different from the one Toriyama himself did.
From those I think only Movie #9 can truly fit in.
Well, Future Trunks shouldn't be in movie 9 since he should of went back to his timeline. And even if he did come back to visit he should have had short hair because Bulma cut it before he went back.. I think... Of course he could have grown his hair long again, then come back. Since he has to wait six months in his timeline to use the time machine again. |

But it's best not to talk movies, they are too confusing and not well thought out. Movie #8 was the worst. Broly destroyed the South Galaxy. But what is this? It's still there as the movie takes place in the South Galaxy. It seems all Broly did was trash all the planets but not destroy them. |

If this is a kid then it couldn't be Vegeta's brother, not even non-canon could pull that one off. Unless Vegeta's mum was pregnant for 20 years instead of 9 months and survived that explosion of Planet Vegeta, lol. |

It could have been a few years before Vegeta blew up. It's not like we see his mother anyway.
And Freeza has a son in Neko Majin though that isn't canon as well.
